I post it in reference to the recent news about a strike by the Maoists in Nepal and perhaps the news reports you have read or seen.

Read other posts in this thread if you want to get a very good "on the ground" view from other tourists of how it really is in the country right now . . . I think you'll be pleasantly suprised!
