Albuquerque - Resolution

Well, after a several day battle with blogger.com and the university server, I have returned to blogger.com's free hosting. The process of moving the blog to the university would have required changing the URL of the blog, and since I have already told people this address, it seemed unwise.

I had originally intended to move the blog to the university so I could post pictures with ease, however, I have figured out a circular method of having pictures inline within a post using the *only* allowed way that free blogger.com accounts can upload pictures: the incredibly limited and silly "hello" program.

I won't go into the details, but basically you can cut and paste the link for a newly posted picture, paste that where ever you want (new post, profile picture, etc.) and then erase the original post that "hello" created. Although seemingly circular, it works - - even after erasing the original picture-post, the picture will remain where ever you chose to put it.

Whew. So, not as many bells and whistles, but the free hosting is not as much as a time-suck and the website name remains the same. Woo-hoo.

I will continue more travel-related details in another post, just thought I would update those who might be watching (all of two people at this point, probably!) why no posts had appeared for three days or so . . .
